New Mexico Advisory Council on Quality Named Winner of Cathy Anderson Award for Public-Private Partnership Image

The National Association of State Directors of Developmental Disabilities Services (NASDDDS) and Public Consulting Group (PCG) named the New Mexico Advisory Council on Quality (ACQ) as the winner of the inaugural Cathy Anderson Award for Public-Private Partnership. This annual award spotlights strong public-private partnerships that improve the lives of people with Intellectual/Developmental Disabilities (I/DD).

We are proud to share that Peter Crespin, Operations Supervisor for Consumer Direct Care Network New Mexico (CDNM) and member of the ACQ Executive Committee, traveled to Alexandria, VA last week to accept the award on behalf of ACQ at the NASDDDS 2022 Directors Forum and Mid-Year Conference.

Peter joined the ACQ Executive Committee in 2021. Since then, he has played a key role in ACQ’s work. ACQ advises the New Mexico Department of Health on the needs of people with I/DD of all ages, their families, and their support networks. Committees such as the ACQ play an important role in partnering with state agencies to ensure that Home and Community Based Services (HCBS) continue to evolve to meet the needs of the people we serve.

Congratulations Peter! Keep up the exemplary work. We are honored to have you as a member of the Consumer Direct Care Network team.
